Expeto’s commitment to enable simple, affordable and fast LTE/5G networks for medium to large enterprise customers requires a broad and committed ecosystem of NeXtworking® Partners. By collaborating across diverse industries with known innovators, Expeto is realizing the true potential of the Enterprise Mobile Networking market as measured by the outcomes and ROI that customers are able to achieve.
Airspan, a leading provider of 4G/5G Radio Access Networks, will join the NeXtworking Partners Program to further this commitment. This collaboration will allow for enhanced visibility and control over all elements of the customer’s Enterprise Mobile Network (EMN) from the Expeto platform, enabling enterprise IT teams to gain increased, improved and curated network insights from Expeto’s xControl®.
Now, customers who deploy the Expeto platform together with Airspan radios will be able to leverage the open and extensible architecture native to Airspan and Expeto. This will provide customers with real time visibility to the status of Airspan radios and the connected user equipment on the Expeto-powered network, as well as the ability to easily configure and manage QoS policies at an individual device level.
“The mobile network deployments of today are formed by a multitude of ecosystem vendors, and managing this complexity can be a significant challenge,” said Eli Leizerovitz, Head of Products at Airspan. “By leveraging Expeto’s single pane of glass approach with our solutions, we can simplify the deployment process, while improving visibility and control over the entire ecosystem. This translates to significant time and cost savings, and more reliable and performant networks for our customers.”
By simplifying network management, Airspan and Expeto are forging an Enterprise First® approach to mobile networking that translates telecom complexity into IT simplicity. Leveraging this solution, Mobile Network Operators/Mobile Service Providers (MxOs) can finally deliver a secure, controllable, highly deployable and rapidly scalable mobile networking solution that enterprises are demanding today. The solution interfaces with any third party 3GPP standards based RAN to equip enterprise customers and MxO partners with the flexibility of an Any-G/Any-Band EMN solution. This flexibility makes it possible to serve legacy 3G/4G devices as well as new 5G devices from one unified EMN stack.
However, while Expeto remains committed to enabling simple, rapid and “out of the box” interworking with any 3GPP compliant RAN, the company recognized that enterprise IT teams benefit from having an end-to-end view of Performance & Event Management from a single, IT-focused pane of glass view. As such, Expeto is developing adaptors between its NeXtworking platform and select market leading RAN suppliers to deliver even more network visibility and control to enterprise IT teams from the same, single xControl UI.
United by a shared vision of unprecedented enterprise enablement, Expeto is excited and proud to announce Airspan as the first RAN provider to be fully integrated with Expeto’s NeXtworking platform. This collaboration smashes the complexity and visibility limitations of traditional Network Management Systems with a solution purpose-built to be consumable and controllable by enterprise IT teams. By increasing visibility of the data path from Airspan radios deployed in the customer premises, Expeto’s platform receives more information which is in turn digested by xControl to provide prioritized networking insights that simplify EMN monitoring for enterprise IT teams.
Brian Anderson, Vice President of Product at Expeto, said, “We overlap with Airspan in many Enterprise industry segments and have SI/MSP partners in common so it made sense for us to integrate with Airspan first. This collaboration will allow our customers to get an end to end view of EMN/PMN performance inclusive of the Airspan RAN from the Expeto xControl web UI instead of toggling between multiple screens. We will also provide interfaces that can be used to ingest Expeto and partner RAN performance management data into existing customer NMS.”
Expeto’s NeXtworking platform incorporates native support for both public and private networks, SIM management and data and policy orchestration. With Airspan as a NeXtworking Partner, Expeto is expanding its ability to help enterprise customers move further and faster to deploy 5G networks that drive meaningful applications and business outcomes. Both companies share a commitment to improving the enterprise mobile networking experience with an emphasis on tangible ROI. But while this partnership is fostering unprecedented mobile networking simplicity, the true value to the Enterprise is what this enhanced visibility and control enables: improved efficiency, security, outage-recovery and independence. To learn more about Expeto’s Enterprise First solution for enterprise mobile networking, click here.
